Budget Approval Doesn't Have to Be Painful
Learn practical financial workflows that actually work. We teach real Australian businesses how to build approval systems that save time, reduce confusion, and keep finance teams happy.

Why Budget Approvals Stall
After working with 40 Australian companies over the past three years, we've seen the same problems show up again and again. These aren't technical issues. They're communication breakdowns.
Missing Information
Requests bounce back because someone forgot to attach supporting documents. Or the justification was too vague. Small gaps create big delays.
Unclear Authority
Who actually approves what? When approval thresholds aren't clear, requests sit in limbo while people figure out who needs to sign off.
No Visibility
Managers can't see where requests are stuck. Finance teams don't know what's coming. Everyone's chasing status updates instead of doing real work.
How We Actually Teach This Stuff
We don't lecture about theory. Our courses walk through real budget scenarios from Australian businesses. You'll see what works and what falls apart.
- Build approval matrices that match how your team actually operates, not some textbook model
- Design request forms that capture the right information the first time
- Create escalation paths that prevent bottlenecks when someone's on leave
- Set up reporting that shows finance teams what's coming down the pipeline
What the Program Covers
Most programs start in July or August 2026. We run cohorts of 12 to 15 people so everyone gets proper attention. Classes meet twice a week for eight weeks.
Weeks 1-2: Foundation
Map your current approval process. Identify where things break down. Learn the basics of workflow design without the corporate jargon.
Weeks 3-4: Build Phase
Create approval hierarchies. Design request templates. Set up routing rules that make sense for your org structure.
Weeks 5-6: Testing
Run sample budgets through your new workflow. Find the gaps. Adjust thresholds. Make sure nothing falls through cracks.
Weeks 7-8: Implementation
Train your team on the new process. Set up monitoring. Build documentation that people will actually read.

Built from Real Experience
Jasper worked as a financial controller before switching to teaching. He's seen approval systems fail in spectacular ways. That experience shapes how we teach. No abstract theory. Just practical systems that survive contact with real organisations.
Our other instructors come from similar backgrounds. They've all dealt with budget chaos firsthand. That's why the course focuses on anticipating problems before they derail your workflow.
